Who we are

Trident Cleans is a cleaning business based in Portsmouth. We are the "controller" of the personal information described here. Registered details: PLACEHOLDER (registered company name, company number and registered address).

1. What we collect

When you get in touch by WhatsApp, phone, email or our quote form, we may collect:

• your name and contact details (phone number, email address)
• your address or postcode
• details of the job you want done, and any access information you give us
• records of the work we do and payments, if you become a customer

2. How the quote form works

When you send the quote form, the details you type in (name, phone number or email, service, area and message) are sent to us by email. The form is processed by Netlify, which hosts this website, and a copy of each submission is held in our Netlify account until we delete it.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to you and give you a quote (taking steps you ask for before a contract).
• To do the work you book and take payment (performing our contract with you).
• To keep business records, handle queries and run our business (our legitimate interests).
• To meet legal duties such as tax and accounting.

4. How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not lead to work, we keep your details for up to 12 months. Job, invoice and payment records are kept for 6 years, as tax rules require. We delete or anonymise information when we no longer need it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with:

• people who carry out your job for us
• Netlify, which hosts this website and processes quote form submissions
• our accountants and other professional advisers
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you message us there, under their own privacy policy
• anyone the law requires us to tell

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies or analytics. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them and Google may see your IP address. If we add cookies or analytics in future, we will tell you here and ask for consent where needed.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• show you the information we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your information
• limit or object to how we use it
• give you a copy you can move elsewhere

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
